==== Process Isolation ==== One of the fundamental concepts of the Erlang virtual machine is process isolation. Each Erlang/Elixir process runs in its own lightweight process, separate from the operating system processes. These processes communicate with each other using message passing, allowing for concurrent execution while maintaining a high level of isolation.
