=== Process Monitoring and Linking === Elixir provides mechanisms for process monitoring and linking, which enhance fault tolerance in concurrent systems. Monitoring allows a process to get notified when another process terminates, while linking ensures that if one process terminates abnormally, linked processes receive an exit signal. To monitor a process, you can use the `Process.monitor/1` function: ```elixir ref = Process.monitor(pid) ``` To link two processes, you can use the `Process.link/1` function: ```elixir Process.link(pid) ```
